Gallery: Cheese Festival at Owasco museum draws big crowd
More than 1,000 people savored the first Cheese Festival at the Ward W. O'Hara Agricultural & Country Living Museum in Owasco on Saturday.聽
Most of the cheese at the event was bought using a $400 gift card donated from Wegmans in 69传媒. Games, wagon rides and more were also featured, and products were available for purchase.
Museum director Tim Quill told 69传媒 the museum already has ideas for the next year of the festival, including the addition of a tent, expanding to two days and adding wine.聽

Gould said she was impressed with the turnout for the event. "I think that it's a great event for the community. It seems to be attracting a lot of the older crowd but then you've got the children's activities and all the free event and things that they were able to get here," she said. "I think it really added to the traction that it's getting."
