The 69传媒 Police Department has provided more details on an accident last week that injured a child.
69传媒 Police Chief James Slayton told 69传媒 on Wednesday that a male 14-year-old on a homemade "motorbike-style" vehicle crashed into the rear of a parked car near Seymour and Washington streets at about 4:25 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21. The child sustained severe but non-life-threatening injuries to his hip and leg, as well as facial and wrist fractures.聽
The child was transported to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Slayton said he did not know the teen's current status or if they are still in the hospital.
