AUBURN - Frederick A. Anthony, passed away peacefully on Sunday, his 92 birthday, surrounded by family at The Commons, 69传媒.

He was born on the family farm, the son of Porter and Dorothy (Jones) Anthony, and was a life resident. Along with his late wife, Marjorie (Dugan) Anthony they raised their eight children on the farm.

Along with his brother, Richard, they ran the family farm until 1970. Fred drove a school bus early on for USCS before beginning a Truck Driving career with various companies. He and Marge spent winters in Florida for fifteen years. His greatest love was his family.

Fred is survived by his children: Dan Anthony, 69传媒, David (Karen) Anthony, 69传媒, Denise (Jeff) Hinman, Weedsport, Michael (Linda) Anthony, Forestport, Michelle (Tim) McCarthy, FL, Cheryl (Steve) Wells, 69传媒, Brenda (Armond ) Johnson, TX; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; siblings: Richard (Linda) Anthony, Beverly (Charlie) Schenck; sister and brothers-in-law; nieces and nephew.

He was predeceased on Sept. 21, 2011 by his wife, of 51 years, Marge, parents, his daughter, Darlene, and a sister, June Anthony.

On Friday, November 22, 2024 calling hours will be held at Farrell's Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., 69传媒 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A Funeral Service will take place at 12:15 p.m. with grandson-in-law, Fred Colombo, Throop Church of God, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Memorials may be remembered to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
